  4. myruggy89 says:

Thank you, I will look for the Cal-Carb Clicker on google.

I am a Mrs on my daughters account. LOL MR. Ruggy!!LOL Thanks for the chuckle today!!

  5. livinlowcarbman says:

Hey Mr. Ruggy! THANKS for your comments and best wishes as you begin this healthy lifestyle change. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

The Cal-Carb Clicker is available online, so Google it and you’ll find it. As for a scale, get a digital one that measures body fat and water. Got mine from Bed, Bath and Beyond. :)

  6. myruggy89 says:

Thanks for the tips!! Getting ready to give this livin la vida low carb a try. Reading the Atkins book now and getting my cupboards prepared. Weeding out all the bad and adding in good things.
Where can we find the Cal carb counter?
What do you recommend for a scale? Some have percentage of body fat and water percentage now and it can get a bit confussing.
    Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks again for another great episode you two.
Have a safe and blessed Christmas season!!

Glad you liked this one, Tami! We’ll be doing more practical ones as the New Year approaches.

  8. Tami718 says:

Thanks for the tips, I’ll probably post them on my blog to help remind myself everytime I log in.

  9. livinlowcarbman says:

Thanks Rene’, we LOVE YOU TOO!!! :)

  10. livinlowcarbman says:

You are VERY welcome, SDQuilter! The naysayers will always be with us, so I’ve learned to tune them out. :)

  11. Froileenana says:

So true induction isn’t about weight loss, thank you so much for that reminder. I’m in ketosis and use the sticks to make sure I stay in there especially when I up my carbs to see how much I can have a day before I’m not turning pink. See page 137 of Dr. Atkins’ New Diet Revolaution…. Awesome helpful Youtube, love you guys… Rene’

  12. SDQuilter says:

I am sure we all lapse in our good judgement from time to time, or maybe just me. My Doctor put me on Atkins back in 2000. It is the inspirational videos that you both do together that makes it easier for the rest of us to be a part of the club. It has always been frustrating to talk to the nay-sayers that consider themselves experts though they have never read the book. I would put my veggie consumption up against their anyday! Thank you, thank you, thank you for the positive influence!

  13. livinlowcarbman says:

Staying committed is the dirty little secret behind why some are successful and others are not. If you have a steadfast resolve to ALWAYS make better choices for yourself, then you can’t help but lose weight and be healthy now and forevermore. THANKS singsomuch!

  14. livinlowcarbman says:

You betcha, Jodi! With New Year’s coming up, there will be a whole lotta people looking for direction about how to get rid of the pounds the right way. THANKS for your support! :)

  15. singsomuch says:

These are really great tips for people who are starting and for those that have been on the diet for a while! Commitment can be a real issue when you’ve hit a stall or you just feel discouraged. Thank you for all the help. Hope you guys are well. :)

  16. imnxrayr says:

Great as always!! Thanks so much for keeping us motivated.

  17. livinlowcarbman says:

YOU CAN DO THIS, Tim! Let me know how I can help you along in this journey. Hopefully my podcast show (TheLivinLowCarbShow dot com) will be back soon when my producer recovers from the injuries he sustained in a car accident.

  18. timbevil says:

Thanks for the great videos, especially those with tips on starting. I started the low carb last Spring of 2006 and lost 45 lbs. Unfortunately, I put it back on and THIS MOMENT (after watching your video) I am starting again. My first step is buying the book. Thanks for the tip on getting serious. PS. Thanks for the podcasts, I subscribe to them too.

  19. livinlowcarbman says:

CONGRATULATIONS, Theresa! You know I’m proud of you for implementing livin’ la vida low-carb into your life. WOO HOO! Happy to encourage you with our videos. :D

  20. bentleykisser says:

Thanks for all of the great tips and advice on ALL of your videos! I have to say I lost over 130+ lbs about two years ago on SB and decided it was time to give up the final 45 lbs! So I decided to to Atkins this time around. You guys have been a Godsend. I have read the book, but as you know there is a lot of information which can get mind boggling at times. I truly appreciate all the great advice and tips! Keep it coming!
    Thanks and Happy Holidays!

CONGRATULATIONS Mrs. Groom and I hear you about the fat…it’s hard to get it through our thick indoctrinated skulls that fat is healthy. Read GOOD CALORIES, BAD CALORIES by Gary Taubes for more information. And visit my LivinLaVidaLowCarb dot com blog for more info! :)

  22. mrsgroom says:

my hubby has started on low carb diet and i must say it worries me, he is eating all that fat and eggs and cheese, my mind just wont get away from the fact that its not hurting him. I have began to watch you two and i am trying so hard to convince myself that what you are saying is true. So now when I watch I get out my pencil and paper and im determined to do what you say, going to order the protien and i have bought my first Atkins book.

  23. livinlowcarbman says:
