Hmmm, sorry about that! I’m VERY busy today with work stuff, so I was trying answer quickly. Lemme try again. :D

During Induction, NO you can’t have the milk and NO you can’t have the pork rinds for coating your chicken. After the two-week Induction period is over, YES you can to both. Frying foods on Induction is perfectly fine because you DON’T FEAR FAT on this way of eating.

Did I do better this time? :D

  3. kim24may says:

thanks 4 replying even tho u didnt answer my questions!!!!!!!! lol

I LOVE Calorie Countdown milk (although it’s harder to find in my area) and pork rinds are wonderful as a fried chicken coating. During Induction, though, you have to follow it by the book as I outlined in this video. But it’s only for two weeks. :)

I love your videos, but i have 2 questions about induction, can i have calorie coundown milk and i like to use pork rinds as coating for my chicken before frying,is there a limit on frying foods on induction?

LOL It’s for sure got an overly sweet chemicly taste to it. I’ll give the the diet soda you guys talked about a try and other than that stick to water then.

  7. livinlowcarbman says:

Crystal Light has NASTY-tame in it (that’s my word for the artificial sweetener aspartame aka NutraSweet), so I’m not a fan at all.

  8. alycat25 says:

Thanks for sharing this! I’m new to all this and thought I was doing well until I realized that I marinated some meat in Teriyaki sauce and saw it’s ingrediants. Yikes! Live and learn I guess.

What about crystal light? (Like the little packs people flavor bottled water with.)

  9. livinlowcarbman says:

WAY TO GO!!! Keep it up!!!

  13. livinlowcarbman says:

Pork rinds, meats, cheeses, etc. are all extremely healthy foods.

  14. jackinla8 says:

omg, heart-attack foods…deli meats are loaded with salt and nitrates,…pork rinds?

  15. livinlowcarbman says:

Very versatile, aren’t they? THANKS for sharing!

  16. kcfreeloader says:

MMMM Pork rinds! The miracle food. For a snack, i take a few pork rinds and melt a little shredded cheder over them in the microwave. Not too long or they get tough. I also shred them up in my food processor and using them for breading chicken and such.

  17. livinlowcarbman says:

THANKS so much for watching, nicoya72! If you are low-carbing, then ABSOLUTELY you should be taking a multivitamin as a bare minimum plus fish oil supplements for omega-3s, Vitamin D, chromium for blood sugar control, CoQ10, and probiotics among others.

  18. nicoya72 says:

Your videos are a God’s send! My question is, should I take multi vitamin supplement while on Induction? I also take Garlic pills and 500 ms of Glucosamine Sulfate for joint pain..Thanks a lot!

  19. livinlowcarbman says:

I did a video on the Ketostix you can buy at the drugstore. They measure your ketone bodies in your urine, so get some. If you are consuming 20g carbohydrates daily (count each of those sweetener packets as 1g carb), then you should be in ketosis by now.

  20. redneck500 says:

I just been tearing up some peperoni sticks, i think I need to slow down on em or something :(

  21. redneck500 says:

Hi Jimmy, just a quick question, im on day Five of Ind. So far so good. I have a question, ive kinda been breaking the rules a little bit, ive been having 4 cups of coffee at night, and havent been using a measring method to weight my vegetables, just by visual means. Im curious if I were to go over 3 packets of sweetener a day or a little over the coffee could it throw me out of Ketosis? also, do you think I am on Ketosis yet being day 5? Is there a way you feel or something? thanks buddy R5

  22. Sadekat says:

Induction ‘nachos’ Pepperoni slices with a tiny bit of shredded cheese microwaved until crispy… YUMMMMYYYYYY

  23. livinlowcarbman says:

I don’t do corn oil…stick with extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, or butter for the best oils. :)

  24. Barista0101 says:

    hey what about corn oil?

  25. livinlowcarbman says:

It’s our pleasure! THANKS for watching!
