I like the new Atkins bars.
What do you think of the Atkins bars, they have a variety pack at Sams club. I never had them before but I saw on the pack that it says “better” tasting. I just had the Caramel Double Crunch…much better than the old bars
I’ll be ordering these too…the whipped cream idea sounds great.
I try to keep you smiling, Maya! By the way, I know Sean Croxton had Julia Ross from THE DIET CURE on his show last week, but she’ll be on my podcast on June 29th!
That’s a blow for me *sighs* my cravings are going crazy and I’m getting freaked! Maybe I should pick up diet cure. Maybe I just wasn’t getting enough of certain amino acids; it did get much worse when I got broke and started living on eggs for protein. Good luck Jimmy, BTW you are so silly on your videos. Just cracks me up.
THANKS Maya! I wasn’t seeing the kind of results with cravings and mentally that I was hoping for, so I decided I’d rather live with sugar-free “sweet” than not at all.
Ah, I must have missed the end your challenge. Did you notice any differences when it ended? I think I may need to go sweet free and am not pleased. *sighs* but the cravings are killing me.
I’ve been sugar-free for over five years, but I haven’t eaten “sweet”-free since January.
Are you no longer sweet free?
Yes, Christine likes getting in her jabs at me, doesn’t she?
I appreciate your concerns, turn2wall. Feel free to e-mail me more information so I can investigate, but I’ve never heard of that before.
HAHAHAH!! “you don’t need any more fiber” they look delicious….. I want! I’m going to totally buy those.
Jimmy,
Soy Protein Isolate, the primary ingredient in the Biscotti is a hidden name for MSG. Even one exposure to MSG causes brain cell damage and death. Be careful about what you promote.
BOTH! The gastric problems that maltitol causes is PLENTY to keep me away from chocolates with it as the primary sweetener (which is why I had ChocoPerfection create a chocolate bar with the LLVLC name on it that has NO maltitol). But I think when double-digit levels of maltitol are used in a product that some of those carbs are absorbed by the body. It’s better to only consume small amounts of it when possible. These biscotti give you that opportunity.
Well, my philosophy is that if you’re gonna eat something that tastes good and cheat, then you might as well eat something that tastes good AND it’s on plan. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!
We’re trying, John! STAY STRONG, buddy!
If you can go without them, then that’s great! But now you know what the good stuff is if you get that hankering for it.
Yes, you must subtract the 5g of the sugar alcohol maltitol I noted during the video along with the 8g of fiber to get the 2g net carbs per 2 biscotti serving. GREAT QUESTION!!!
Just looked at the website, and there were 5 g. sugar alcohols, so yes, there are 2 g. net / impact carbs.
Were there any sugar alcohols? Total carbs – fiber – sugar alcohols = Net carbs

Those look good. I haven’t had any cravings for sweets yet. Yay. I plan on being on induction for probably a couple of months due to my current size before going to OWL. Definitely a great idea for later on. Thanks for being our 2 guinea pigs for new low carb food. =)
