why do they talk so much about weight loss but not fat loss? it’s easy to lose muscle and water weight while keeping plenty of fat. just stop eating.

  2. AppleSouffle says:

I was living the low carb lifestyle before it was called low carb.

I gave up sugar because I’m hypoglycemic. When I was in high school, I was tired and sleepy from eating sugar.

I’m 6′ and 3″ tall, 188 pounds. I’ve never been over weight. Just plain being healthy is reason enough to give up sugar and high glycemic carbs!

My record for push ups is 82 in a row! And I’m 45 years old! It’s amazing what a dedicated person can do!

Next week I’m starting a class in Shaolin Kenpo!

Were we watching the same thing? Because his stick did turn to a pink shade which does indicate ketone levels. Dr. Atkins even advises NOT to allow your ketone levels to reach the darkest color being that would indicate perhaps not enough water in your diet.

  4. mcbrite says:

    NOW, it’s clear you’re a fucking idiot and I’ll ignore you, simple…

Good luck looser, you’ll need it…

  5. ivetastedblood says:

Stupid bitch, you said “that dude will never be thin”, but as you said, he is fat so that fat is malluable and capable of breaking down so he can become thin, maybe not pencil thin and certainly not without stretchmarks up the ass and loose skin but he and anyone else with fat on their body can lose it.

Thats what i’m trying to argue here.

    what now?

  6. mcbrite says:

“larger framed people” are not the same as fat people. He is fat…

The string is a stupid gimmick and does nothing that a decent pair of scales wouldn’t do…

I don’t know what the fuck you’re trying to argue here… All I said is that he’s lying to himself if he convinces himself he’s in Ketosis… I use those exact same sticks and that dude is NOT in ketosis PERIOD.

  7. ivetastedblood says:

but he had a string he used as a reference to his inches lost…how is that a lie? its concrete proof that he lost something huh? lol you just have a problem with larger framed people.

  8. mcbrite says:

If they lie to themselfes like that looser does, yes…

  9. ivetastedblood says:

because you know every large person w ho could never earn a thinner frame?

  10. Schrumplet says:

I love the narrator’s tone and elocution. The dramatic music is awesome. Very interesting program.

  11. MrLeggo says:

lol the drama in the background.

  12. mcbrite says:

    “So I’m in Ketosis”

BULLSHIT… That dude will never be thin… That strip showed ZERO ketons… Also the longer you wait, the more it WOULD show…

  13. johndela1 says:

the guys that says what will happen in 20 years? We can’t be sure people wont have kidney stones. It is odd to say if we follow a low carb diet we will see good things today, but may get sick later but if we eat the typical diet we see sickness right away.

  14. Chaaarge says:

I fucking love the drama :P

  15. xxmonickkkkaxx says:

The dramatics of this documentary are really getting on my nerves.

  16. Jeratos says:

a lot of the arguments against Adkins are completely unfounded. people have said a lot of crap but found out it wasn’t true -now its about the kidneys. Give me a break-

  17. koreoh12 says:

He should get a job as a urine tester, he seems to have a knack for it.

  18. LiptonGuy says:

My dog is on the Atkins diet. But she still keeps getting fatter :(

  19. LiptonGuy says:

This guy is weird at the 4:00 mark:

The dude brought his urnine out from the bathroom, out in to his living room and set it down on the table, next to his couch.

Most normal people would have dipped the Ketone stick, in the bathroom.

    This guy is NASTY….

  20. Oreceo says:

Unless living in an extremely cold climate or unless someone engages in work that burns super amounts of calories most people eat waaayy more fat than they need so cutting back on the carbs and fat isn’t going to hurt…

  21. podsol99 says:

PS: Don’t be scared of the fat :D . It’s your friend.

  22. podsol99 says:

Not a good idea because if you don’t eat carbs (or very low carb) your body uses fat as its main energy source. Low carb AND low fat can’t work very well.

  23. Oreceo says:

How about a modified Atkins diet. High protein, low fat.
So you eat protein, fruit, veggies, nuts, seeds, legumes, vegetables oil and fats…

  24. UlyssesBreckenridge says:

watching fat people eat is making me sick, just the gluttony aspect.

  25. bundleHastings says:

zegonzales: rather atkins breath than weighing 400 pounds
