I read all these reviews saying this was great tasting stuff. All I have to say is- dang, I’d hate to taste the BAD stuff!! I was very surprised when I got my case of Vanilla Zoic and I couldn’t gag it down. It has a very odd taste. It’s a chalky-metallic, very artificial (and not in a good way) taste and it took me a while to figure out what it reminded me of- then it hit me- PEPTO BISMOL. And no, I ‘m not kidding. Maybe the chocolate is better? The nutrition in this is hard to beat, but I just wish they could make it taste a little better. I have to mix fat free choc syrup into this just so I can stand it (because after all, I do have a whole case to drink!)- which sucks because it adds extra calories.
Listen, I’m not a picky person… I’m a girl who eats a lot of low calorie stuff and I’m very used to this kind of thing, but this is just nasty, I’m sorry. Not a good review here. I got the recommendation from Hungry Girl and usually their reviews are spot-on, but this stuff… not so much. But hey, you may be like the others and LIKE it. If you are, then good… because you’ll have a whole case to drink.

I tried this product after reading these reviews. I have used Slim-Fast low carb drink in the past, Atkins drink, EAS. I am always looking for low-carb high protein products to maintain my weight. This was the very worst drink I have ever had. It tasted like chemicals going down, I couldn’t even finish a can and had to return the rest.

I was surprised to find Splenda in these.
I would rather have real sugar or a healthy
sugar substitute like stevia or agave,
I didn’t care for the taste of the French Vanilla.
On the pro side, each can has 21 grams of protein
and a huge amount of vitamins in good %’s, eg 40%
of calcium and 50% of vit D.

I bought Zoic because of the extensive reviews, what a huge mistake! This stuff is poison!!!! possibly Rock Star the energy beverage would have been a much wiser choice. Zoic is truly the juice from hell, I became so sick that i swore nobody would go through this again. This stuff is SNAKE-OIL!!!!! Do not go near it, you WILL regret it. I had an open mind but no more!

I have a busy off site work schedule, so this product works great for me when I cannot break for lunch. Because of my dairy allergy it was great to find a soy meal replacement ready drink! The chocolate is rich and creamy, and the vanilla is adequate except for the overriding artificial sweetener after taste. The only drawback would be the artificial sweetener (which I am not a fan of) and the lack of enough fiber to be a COMPLETE meal replacement.
